Since we are both feeling thankful for this amazing adventure, we decided that Thanksgiving would be a great time to…well, talk about gratitude.

One of Scott’s pet peeves revolves around holidays which occur once a year in which all of a sudden we are expected to be romantic, repentant, or generous for that one day. What about the other 364 days of the year?!? So, that got Susan thinking about Thanksgiving. How can we be thankful everyday instead of just once a year? We all have something that we can be grateful for each day, even when they are at their worst. So, she came up with the idea to infuse Thanksgiving into our daily lives and express each night five things to each other for which we are thankful. Now, to be honest, with our busy lives there are nights when we are tired and choose to do other things. However, when we do express gratitude, it is amazing how our connection with each other deepens and our view of life becomes lighter.

We invite you to join us in bringing gratefulness to your everyday by expressing (i.e. verbally, writing, dancing, meditating, whatever works for you) five things that YOU are grateful for in your life. And, we invite you to let us know what came up for you after reading this and/or how this worked for you.
